In 2001 Newmagic communications, Inc. (NMC) has formed an in-house distribution division, Newmagic Distribution (NMD), to capitalize on its production and post-production facility
and the success of it newest venture, The Virtual Magician.
NMD is uniquely separated from most distribution companies in the industry whereas it has streamlined the sales
and marketing process with the use of state-of-the-art technology to communicate with television buyers in virtually every territory worldwide in the most cost effective manner. In concert with its production facility, NMD markets its programs with high-end graphics, video conferencing and streaming media thus reducing the materials duplication and shipping costs while
increasing sales turnaround time and promoting smart brand identity.
Moreover, while most outside distribution companies charge between 25-40% plus 10% for marketing expenses, NMD significantly reduced these
fees and expenses for The Virtual Magician by distributing and marketing from within.
For programs acquired from or co-produced with outside producers, NMD offers a highly competitive rate. Additionally, all sales and marketing materials such as trailers, promos and key art are created in-house and will garner additional fees for its services. As an art director and designer, Marco Tempest oversees the entire creative process for its marketing materials guaranteeing the highest quality for brand identification and exploitation.
NMD, headed by Wil Master, with a successful track record for over 7 years in film/television financing and distribution and with solid relationships with program buyers worldwide, has concluded
an exceptional number of international pre-sale agreements for its original entertainment television series The Virtual Magician. Distribution windows at top Pay TV cable/satellite operators and top
terrestrial broadcasters have enabled Newmagic to effectively exploit The Virtual Magician around the world.
As well, the program is produced in such an inventive style that enables delivery in various formats such as Specials and as a Series.
